Old ass receptionist at work is the biggest potato ever and would fit in well in a game thread. She will undoubtedly tell everyone who walks in on Monday that she’s happy we won “but I think the freshman needs a chance.”
Last week I overheard it and said “Sandy, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and you’re going to lose us business if you keep that up.”
She said “But in the 90’s we always had a quarterback who was fast and look what happened.”

The problem is that it’s not critism. It never comes from a place of analysis or intelligence which is what critics do. It’s all emotional. It’s people who are mentally weak and the only coping mechanism they have is the equivalent of a toddler collapsing to the floor and losing their minds. And it isn’t limited to the game thread.

I don’t think anyone is calling this type of post out - or they shouldn’t be.
