I see a lot of people on Twitter saying it’s terrible timing with the CWS, but I think it could draw a lot of the CWS fans down I-80 if their team is off that day.

I don’t see how CWS is going to impact things. My two daughters, 11 and 9, have no interest in baseball or the CWS but are big into the banana ball based off watching the short videos on social media and the dance stuff they do. I think there is some crossover, though Banana Ball could probably fill Memorial Stadium with a majority of fans who give two shits about the CWS.

I think it is perfect timing with the CWS, lol. Thousands of people in town that weekend, can draw from the CWS crowd as well as get cross promoted. Assuming it is successful, I'd try and do it every year if I were them.

I think it makes sense for the bananas. Not sure CWS/Omaha feel the same way. I guess we’ll see how it plays out. Could be good for everyone.

The tickets to get in to the opening Saturday at the CWS have been ungodly expensive the past few years. I’m pretty sure the get in price was over $300 this year. They will have no problem because of this.
