Game Thread Nebraska v Cincinnati (Kansas City, MO) - Thursday, August 28 8:00pm ESPN

Not sure why the voters love BYU so much. They haven’t played shit and barley beat crappy Colorado
Do they love them that much? They're 5-0 (with not many impressive wins) and in a Power 4 Conference. Probably deserve to be top 20 just for being undefeated.

Not that it matters to this year's team, but I'm always impressed by the pros they produce. They probably have the best WR in the nfl right now with Puka and maybe the best LB in the league with Fred Warner.

I guess the answer is probably since 2015 Michigan State when NU somehow beat a 4 team CFP caliber opponent in Memorial Stadium

I don't care if they make that statement, but I do think ESPN's lack of integrity about the Big 12 is pathetic.

There are 12 Big Ten teams and 12 SEC teams that would be 7-1 or better with Cincinnati's schedule.
Also if you look at Cincy's post- Nebraska schedule, the wins haven't been that impressive.

Kansas-ISU-UCF...none of those 3 teams are any good. ISU is decent. KU and UCF are average to below average. And those were both close games.

I thought Cincinnati was top 6 in Big 12. I do think they're good. But looking back at these results, they are squeaking by some very mediocre teams. Blew out OSU and Baylor but those horrific programs at this point.

I'm not sure how Cincinnati is going to do vs Utah and BYU.
