Heading to Breckenridge this Thursday-Tuesday with the family (wife, 6 year old, 4 year old, and newborn). First time visiting, staying right off of Main Street. Any places we need to hit? Easy hikes with the kids? Best restaurant recommendations?
 
Download AllTrails, read the recent reviews for trail conditions and pick whatever fits you best. It’ll have trails of all difficulty levels

Yea, dont forget a $300 per day lift ticket plus paying for parking and spending $19 on a soggy cheeseburger. I've actually never skiied Breck, I'm more of a A-basin type of fella. Thats not so affordable anymore either. Thinking about switching up and going to the kiddie hill otherwise known as Snowy Range, like all good western nebraskans. Sorry to Hi-Jack the thread, OP. Breckinridge area is really nice in the summer, I'm sure there will still be fun stuff to do.

We took the kids to Loveland Ski Area last year. Not a bad mountain and you can usually get a pretty good deal on their 4-pack for lift tickets.

$19 for a cheeseburger? That’s cheap and always have to buy the lift passes at the end of the season for next year or in the summer for the best discounts.
 
I went fly fishing just south of Hoosier pass. Great for hiking if you're ok walking through tall reeds and stepping into waist deep holes.
