Rory literally asked for it. Flipped the fans off, told them to shut the fuck multiple times and has been blowing kisses to them. If you don’t want them to taunt you, don’t give them a reason to do it.

This is a bit revisionist. Both sides were leaning into the usual banter, but at some point it crossed a line. Rory yelled shut the fuck up because they’re yelling “fuck you” when he had addressed the ball. crowd is saying stuff about his wife and kids. Just way beyond the usual back and forth. They increased security, they threw a couple folks out, they were trying to tone the crowd down by the end of the day.
