Go out and win the next 3 all convincingly and they'll be ranked. Especially if Michigan goes on a good run too then that will look like a very good loss.

Honestly feel like it's pretty rare for a P4 team to be 6-1 and not ranked

I think we're probably gonna be 5-2 at that point but we ought to be ranked if 6-1

Sticking with my 8-4. Lowers my chance of heartbreak and keeps me rational.

...and with our history over the last 20 years we could be 8-0 and most likely still not be ranked.

At 7-1 I’m really not sure that we’re ranked. Competition between now and then is 💩

I’m not assuming the group in front of us stays unscathed, which is why I think we’re ranked regardless of our competition at 7-1.

This feels more like a year two 7-5 Rhule team. If the team stays intact, I see them making a run next year. I think trying to win with Frost's mental headcase holdovers slowed his usual 3rd year trajectory.

2026 schedule will be rough w/ OSU, Indiana, Oregon, Washington, and Illinois. Thankfully we get most of those at home.

Illinois is gonna lose a ton and hopefully cig goes Florida so Indiana can go back to the trash heap where they belong. But ya definitely a tougher schedule

We’re obviously not a playoff team at this point, but I would argue a mid season ranking would matter. Not like finishing inside the top 20 would, but we need any positive mo we can get at this point.

We haven’t shown that we can beat teams we aren’t supposed to, or that we can win all of the ones we should.

So we lose the 2 obvious ones. Lose one more we shouldn’t.

I’m in the 10-2 crowd. Does this team has flaws? Yes but I think we have the leadership in place to put together a good run through October and we will see what happens when USC comes to town

I said 7-5 before the season and I’ll stick with it. We haven’t won more than 7 games in a season for a bajillion years so they gotta show me they can do it.

Staying with 7-5. We don't do enough things well on either side of the ball to beat quality Big Ten teams. If we lose to Michigan State, this thing could unravel quickly so hopefully that doesn't happen.
