New baseball commit for those interested

considering that Losing Timmerman and Worthley to injury ( Who were your top left and right options in front of Broderick) and then your Friday Night Starter really Hamstrung the team last year. It forced you to ride Horn Brockett and Walsh through 2 months where they averaged 4 innings per start because you didn't have your two top dogs to bridge the gap to the end of games. Injuries happen in baseball but that is 3 really high leverage arms to go down all at once. If you want to complain about not having the depth behind them I can agree with that, but any team will underperform when 3 of your top 5 arms are either out or pitching through injury IMO.

It’s current as well. Just passing on info I’ve heard. Personally, I’ve expected Bolt to be better. They were 15-15 last year in league. They weren’t good enough. So should a great run in the tourney take away a bad regular season?

He’s only won the regular season title once.

Is he better than Erstad or Anderson? Sure.. is he going to get Nebraska baseball back? He hasn’t proven he can, imo
Hasn't a different team won the reg season title every year since Bolt took over? Fire all the coaches in the B1G because they have only won either 0 or 1 B1G reg season title in the last 5 years?

Maryland repeated 2022 & 2023 regular season champions & their head coach left for the SEC. The Terps haven't made it to the B1G tournament since.

What is “back” for NU baseball?

This x100

MM likely takes this team from .500 in league to well above.

Not to mention you’ve got MM on Friday and you can then shuffle the guy you did have going to Saturday, the Saturday guy to Sunday, and then the Sunday guy to midweek, etc.

MM going down truly hurt bad.
