Seagren? He has the second most snaps of any OT on the Oklahoma St roster. So why is he still on the roster?
Ah that Nebraska kid. 😂What? Seagram transferred to Okie State
Seagram's left because Gottula has 77 and he wanted it because he's a Seven and Seven type guy.Ah that Nebraska kid. 😂
It just struck me that considering two of our four games were Akron and Houston Christian 15th & 24th is really a bad showing for our tackles. This is YTD 2025, all draft classes, at least 55 pass play snaps, worst to best ordering

To me that now means "we have eight second teamers"Whenever coaches say “We have incredible depth” at a position I’m just going to start assuming we don’t have anyone good there
But it seems like Rhule really doesn't put much of a priority on the line as we should. Our lines on both sides of the ball always just looked small to me compared to other teams. They say there's that "getting off the buss look." I've felt like we haven't had that "get off the buss look" for our lines, more so in particularly the OL in forever.
I think the answer to both these questions is the same; it's not that we haven't put emphasis on OL or RB, it's that we simply can't close on them. Depsite the rest of us knowing this team has potential to be a playoff team if we had elite players in these "holes" in the roster, the rest of the country doesn't (including the elite kids around the country we need to fill those holes). To most of them, we are still suffering from the reputation of being an irrelevant program for 20 years, and finally having a winning season for the first time in how many years? He was a lightly recruited undersized rb with no break away speed who was passed on by his hometown school and regional schools. Scott Frost cruit. How has he not been recruited over at this point?
Dylan is playing extremely well, which is why the dogshit tackle play was so frustrating Saturday. I never saw this level of terribleness coming. Nobody did that to us last yr. Saturday was about as bad as 2 tackles could play. It wasn’t one, it was BOTH at the same timePeople won’t like my take…and I don’t particularly care…
There were a couple of those sacks that were on Dylan holding it long - but the majority of the issue is squarely on our line.
If Dylan has the stat line he did yesterday throughout the B1G and we win 9/10, he will be in New York at end of season for the Heisman ceremony. 75% 300 yds and 3/1 TD/INT
He looked competent until the very end against a good B1G defense. I remember how many games last year he completely shut down in the 4th/OT
The analytics seem to be pretty bullish on Nebraska still. Parker Fleming had us outplaying Michigan actually and FPI and TeamRankings has us as a top 20 (FPI has us as 21) team in the country. Problem is we played a top 15 or maybe even a top 10 team in the country on Saturday.
Reasons to be pessimistic, but imo, more reasons to be optimistic.

Those guys are hard to convince that we are going somewhere. Now, the counter point to this is Cignetti. Someone will always have the 'exception to the rule' and try to make it easier to do than it really is. But it's not easy.
I agree with other posters who have said this; if we can get 9-10 wins this season (that includes the bowl game) that will put us back on the map and I bet we start closing on those guys.
