Usually alone at the compound with a 25MG Smoking Dog Seltzer! Nobody around to hear what I’m yelling! GBR

I have no idea what a 25mg Smoking Dog Seltzer is, but the rest of the setup looks legit.

Nice.

Prefer to watch the games at home.

Due to having 3 toddlers, I’m often pausing the game for one reason or another. I have an asshole neighbor that shoots of an arterial shell everytime Nebraska scores. Was 100% sure Nebraska had lost the Illinois game last year because of it. I was about 10 minutes behind in the 4th qtr. Illinois took the lead and I knew there were no more artillery shells. I was hoping the asshole just ran out but was wrong.

It’s easy to just not look at my phone when behind the live broadcast but perhaps I should be wearing ear plugs.

I don't go to many games. Probably haven't been to one in about 10 years. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it. But I prefer watching it on TV. I love arguing with broadcasters.

I grew up with my parents hosting mild watch parties. My parents didn't drink growing up...so they weren't anything crazy. But there is nothing worse than watching a game with ignorant football fans. I'm not saying that you need a PhD or anything, but don't scream at the TV if you really don't know what your talking about...drives me nuts.

I've watched a few games at bars over the years and those are extremely fun! I watched the 2023 Cockeye game at a Tanners with a bunch of strangers that I had never met. That was a blast!

But my preference is probably to watch the game with my dad and brother. Neither of them are as crazy as I am when it comes to their fandom, but they care and know enough about the game.

I like to go to a few games a year. But prefer watching alone so I can actually pay attention to the details of what coaches are doing scheme wise and keying in on specific players I like to watch.

From the late ’70’s to the time my oldest son was born I went to a ton of Nebraska games. Saw them play in every stadium in the Big 8, a couple in the Big 12 and then kids, work, life got in the way and I went over 20 years between in person Nebraska games.

I typically go to one a year now and they’re still fun, even as bad as we’ve sucked since my 2018 return to Lincoln. That said, pause is nice. A fridge full of food and drinks is nice and I can afford to have all the bourbon I want. A bathroom without a line is nice. My couch is freaking awesome.

Prefer to watch with family at my house or my brother's house. But, only with my brother in the room. We cuss A LOT and only come up from the basement for food, time outs, or air. In person at the stadium is a very close 2nd.

I do like a good bar party if the good guys are playing well, and the score isn't particularly close. Which doesn't happen all that much.

Watching with the wife can sometimes be a problem.

I get pretty dialed in and don’t need any goddamned questions about dinner, or when the last time we changed the AC filters. Don’t care that the dog is licking himself, don’t care about the neighbors kids recital.

Nebraska’s on. Shut it.
Is your wife like mine?

"I know you don't want me to talk during the game but..."

Very early on in our relationship she scheduled us for a couples massage during a Husker game (either Arkansas state or Idaho state? so she probably though he won’t care), I was clearly annoyed but we were early in the dating cycle so I went (great massage and a ding when we got back). Told her that night “thanks for that and I love you but for 4 hours during game day my calander is booked” She was pissed but eventually understood and haven’t had anything in the 13 years since.

She’s not even that courteous.

She’ll be quiet on the couch watching a TV show or a movie for hours. Something about that scarlet ’N’ gets her goddamned mouth moving like an auctioneer.

‘Are you listening to me?'

‘No. No I’m not'

I’ve been married for 37 years, so mine has no excuse. I was watching Nebraska vs FSU in 1985 when we met. Watched the ’88 Orange Bowl debacle against Miami on our honeymoon.

I haven’t changed at all, except I don’t throw shit anymore, but she’s not taking the hint.

Biff's Butthole Surfers might be a make or break game for her.
