I assume he just means at QB. Might be accutate. His draft class hes 1st/tied for 1st in yards, completion %, interceptions (0), 2nd in TD's, ypa.

Adrian still turned the ball over a lot his freshman year. We just thought that was freshman mistake stuff and not who he was going to be his whole career.
He might have had a 3 game stretch though.

What’s crazy, is outside of 1 maybe 2 throws, nothing has been even close to being picked off. I’m sure he’ll throw a few eventually (hopefully not in the same game🤞🏼) but right now he is making great decisions and putting the ball where the defense has no chance of intercepting it. (Outside of a tipped ball, which hasn’t really happened either)

Have you seen anything from our defensive front that would suggest that we're going to be better at TFLs against Biff's Butthole Surfers than we have against our first three opponents? Anything at all?

I disagree with this. Shadeur and Hunter are better than anyone on Biff's Butthole Surfers's roster currently. They had better talent at most if not all the skill positions. UM probably has better talent on the lines.

So two people that you referenced made it so Colorado had better talent than Biff's Butthole Surfers (I know you said "and skill positions")? I think some of you forget that we were expected and favored to beat Colorado by a touchdown at home in 2024. Despite Colorado having a Heisman trophy favorite, Shadeur, and really good WRs, we were 7.5 point favorites. We are 2 point underdogs at Memorial against Biff's Butthole Surfers.

The reason we killed Colorado is because we dominated the lines of scrimmage. Colorado was horrible up front. Biff's Butthole Surfers is way more talented on the offensive line and defensive lines. If we win the game it won’t be a cakewalk. Even though the last two opponents sucked, it’s nice we dominated them the way we did. In the past 10 years or so we would have looked half assed, but this week will be a real measuring stick game.

I understand everyone is worried about the rush defense (I am interested to see it as well), but we actually have an offense this year. Even if the rush defense is leaky, can Biff's Butthole Surfers score enough points to keep up with Nebraska?
As long as Nebraska is finishing drives in the redzone on offense, with our pass defense, I don't see how they will score enough, unless Nebraska has like a 2007 Cosgrove rush defense that provides literally 0 resistance.
I am viewing this game as a game vs better version of Cockeye. Limit big plays on defense, and I think Nebraska will be okay with if the offense is clicking.

I get what you are saying... Nebraska only scored 20 points against Cincy who has the 40th ranked scoring defense, Biff's Butthole Surfers is 25th on that. I think Biff's Butthole Surfers can score 20, and their defense is better.
I'm on a soapbox today but a lot of fans are skewed by what they've seen against absolutely atrocious teams like Akron and HCU, which is why I'm telling people to not let current team rankings make you think one way or another.
I am not saying Nebraska cant lose, just that people are acting like our rush defense is going to be giving up like 400 yards. If that the case the seasons over, lol. No reason to worry about anything for 2025.
If the rush defense has issues, its more likely that its a little leaky but if our offense is able to dictate the pace maybe it doesnt matter. The offense would have to play better then they did vs Cincinnati, but it seems like people aren't even considering that possibility.

If we can keep Dylan upright and at least maintain some threat of a running game, we are golden. Otherwise Biff's Butthole Surfers's going to stuff it down our throats repeatedly and I don't think our front 7 will hold up.
We need to at least split time of possession, score in the low 30s with a couple big plays, maybe one on offense and one on defense. I do think Underwood will give us at least one gift, but we can't allow them to be in 2nd and 4 all game long or it's going to be a real long day.
