But I could see him hanging them up on his own. #2ndChoice is the one who's seat is boiling, IMO. I think they only have 1 more win on the schedule...and that's probably next week. They play 5 more teams currently in the top 25, 3 of which are in the top 10.

Don't think it will get much hotter than #2ndChoice, but Foster is hot garbage right now and Pry at Virginia Tech is as good as gone.
Sanders and Gundy I think are done, but won't get fired, they'll leave on their own.

I didn’t think there was scenario where Foster could get fired this year. UCLA doesn’t have super high expectations and he’s a former player. But if they go 0-12 or 1-11 it might happen. Especially if they have someone like Tony White who is interested in taking the job. I personally, would tell TW to hold out for a better job, but when it’s your Alma mater sometimes emotions override logic.

IDK… Burt is doing pretty well at Illinois and he’s “B1G guy” so to speak. Also, is it really easier to make the playoffs in the BigXII? One conference has 18 teams and the potential to get 4 teams in the playoffs. Other has 16 teams and only 1 is getting in, the conference champion. I think it might be easier to get a bid in the B1G.

Also a bunch more money to use at Illinois. Don't think there will be many HC going from the B1G/SEC to a lower conference.
Before the season, I'd agree, but UCLA has far surpassed the level of crapiness I expected. They are a dumpster fire and not far away from throwing in the towel on the season, would not be surprised to see some players quit and pull the 4 game red shirt thing before looking for a transfer. Surprised at how awful they have been.
