1: Sipple made a good point last night. He said Nebraska had done everything it could do to try to win this game against Michigan and beyond. We hired good coaches, hired consultants, spent on transfers, prepared young guys for their roles, kept everyone out of trouble and healthy. We won these first 3 just like we were supposed to and looked impressive while doing it. Starters were prepared and back ups didn't look out of sorts. What more could we even think of to ask for on top of all that? Rhule has to be given credit, now it's up to the team to perform.

2: Dylan is a great player and looks miles ahead of almost everyone his age. I can't even think of someone comparable. Our best player plays the most important position. He also doesn't need anyone to do anything special, just do their job and he'll get them the ball. I think Dana calls a controlled offense that racks up positive plays and it suits Dylan.

3: I can't think of a time recently when we had this many offensive weapons. The flexibility of our offense can only lead to good things in conference play.
Gone are the days where Billy Kemp was our most threatening weapon or that transfer from Baylor that was a year younger than the WR coach getting RB carries because we didn't have anyone else.

4: Ceyair Wright hasn't made a single play all year. In fact there is very little evidence that he has even participated, despite the fact that he is actually out there playing in front of 80,000 people without being noticed. It's been 3 games, ask yourself what you saw him do. His opposite side Marshall is almost the same. Coach Butler has found a way to camouflage his corners for entire games. The pass defense has been top notch.

5: The level of competition is about to be dialed up so to me the season really starts Saturday. I'm sure Rhule feels the same way and it wouldn't surprise me to find out that this Michigan game has been circled on the calendar much like Colorado was last year. Tone setting games. I think we might see a similar result.

I called 28-6 Nebraska in the offseason. I’m getting a very similar feeling to the sCUm game last season.

My thoughts exactly. Feels very Colorado-esq. In fact, Bud will likely walk the team out again, don't we think?

Also, yes, Michigan rolled yesterday. But I see that he is the only Michigan QB to attempt a pass. Did they play their starters all game just to ensure the blowout?

On offense they did have six guys who played between 73%-81% of the snaps. On D they had seven guys who played over 50% of the snaps.

This is our Colorado game for sure, our goal was to get ready for this game with the first few. The fans will be amped and the place will be rocking. But 2025 Michigan is a far superior opponent compared to 2024 Colorado.

True, but I do think this team has definitely taken a step forward from last year as well.

Flash!! You ole sumbitch glad to see up 🔝 postin at 3am again !? Excited for the boys are ya?? let’s meet at the coop and talk fellatio and Husker football thx

  • Still concerned about Raiola ability to stretch a D downfield effectively.
  • Run D needs to be better. The whole we’ve been playing 2nd, 3rd and 4th teamers doesn’t track as much since the same is true for the secondary and there’s not much drop off.
  • Run game is what it is. I think Holgs knows it won’t be 50/50

Recipe seems pretty simple. Put them in a hole and make Underwood throw.

Even after playing Akron and HCU, we're #87 in the country in TFLs. If the game depends on getting Michigan behind the sticks, we're fucked.
