Max Kellerman is retarded.
He's been a disaster on every ESPN appearance for years, to the point that ESPN didn't have him do a single appearance for about 2 years, even though he was under contract.
He only exists because ESPN needed a boxing guy during the 90s heyday.
His purse or the bonus? No shot he only brought him $10M. Canelo’s purse was like 100 or 150M I’m pretty sure I read.
The only sad part is I could actually see Bud retiring now mainly because there’s no one left to fight. And even if he doesn’t, the only big fight left is a Canelo rematch. I hate Tank Davis, so I always wanted Bud to put him to sleep but now that he’s at 168 there’s no chance of that happening. I’m pretty sure Bud’s smarter than going up to 75 and trying to mess with Bivol.

I think the age card was a bit overplayed. Canelo isn't a spring chicken and a much older "boxer." Canelo has literally fought in over double the amount of rounds as Bud.
Not trying to take anything away from Bud at all. But I just don't think Bud's age was a factor at all.
I had people in here telling me watching Bud’s last fights they thought he was slowing down 🤣🤣🤣 wtf you watching??

TBF Bud's last fight vs Madrimov was EXTREMELY awkward. Due to Madrimov's style.
Even Bud's biggest fans would admit that that fight just looked odd from all angles. Bud didn't look particularly good. He didn't look bad either.
The hope was that was all due to Madrimov's style and none of it was due to Bud being on the wrong side of 35. You could never be 100% sure until you saw how he looked tonight.
I'm a massive Bud fan so I was hoping we could chalk that all up to Madrimov being a very weird fighter.
He went up a weight class and the fight was never in doubt. I watched the fight multiple times, it’s not like he looked slow or anything. It was obvious to me, the little bit he did struggle was because of the awkwardness of Madrimov.

Crawford’s good, but he hasn’t looked as crisp as he was last night in a while and all of that after jumping up two weight classes.
I knew he was good. I didn’t think he could do what he did. Win the fight? Sure. Dominate? No. Great job Bud.
