Millard South High School sends email to parents after self-reporting NSAA infraction for football team

The Millard South football team will be without head coach Taylor Mendenhall for the next two games after the Patriots self-reported an NSAA infraction.

They throw this in at the end as if the death penalty was on the table:

The NSAA commended the school for self-reporting, and it said students can still participate in sports at Millard South High School.

That’s what it usually is when a high school forfeits a game already played. It’s almost always an ineligible player. Though why the NSAA isn’t specifying the violation for “privacy reasons” seems a little odd to me.
