Welcome to The Platinum Board. We are a Nebraska Husker news source and fan community.
Sign Up Now!There are smart fans on there talking about how Rhule is not gonna be happy with (a) the player who leaked this and (b) Will for tweeting it.About as leaked as a Kardashian sex tape, but #awooooga
Going great in Carolina now without him.Just crazy that loser ass Panthers fans have to jump in every X thread about Rhule...
Im a lifelong panther fan and any panther fan blaming rhule in 2025 is a certified dumbfuck lol. Our 2 best players are Rhule draft picks and they still cant figure out that its the dipshit owner who tanked it with meddling and bad choicesJust crazy that loser ass Panthers fans have to jump in every X thread about Rhule...
Now somebody needs to convince Rhule that the rest of the coaches on the schedule pissed in his Wheaties at some point too.
I sort of like it when grown men are petty like that for good reason.Moorhead must have gotten more head from Rhules mom or something good god the vendetta. Love it though.
It's really weird.Just crazy that loser ass Panthers fans have to jump in every X thread about Rhule...
I used to like Andy and Ari but these clowns will do anything to bait Nebraska fans for clicks and views
I do agree with everything you said. I just don’t respect them for using us more than any other program for engagement farming.I was just gonna post this.
Andy is making a joke that this is not "leaked" in any way. If it was leaked it wouldn't have bleeps in it and video panning and hard and soft focuses on players, etc.
The joke is about the idea that this is "leaked." It's not an anti-Nebraska tweet in any way. He was just making a joke about the University putting out an obvious piece of propaganda (a good piece mind you) and pretending it was leaked.
Our NU fans (who aren't always the smartest) are attacking Andy in the replies for an "anti Nebraska" tweet. It's not. They just didn't get the joke.

Andy is making a joke that this is not "leaked" in any way. If it was leaked it wouldn't have bleeps in it and video panning and hard and soft focuses on players, etc. It's obviously carefully curated and put out by UNL. This is different than actual leaks - like the one from Kirby or the one from Pelini. That's all Andy is saying.

Andy is very fair towards Nebraska, so this is a bit cringeworthy that our fans are attacking him over this.
We're lucky because we have an amplification system that broadcasts all of our propaganda out to the world (thank you Will).I do agree with everything you said. I just don’t respect them for using us more than any other program for engagement farming.
I do not blame him though because Nebraska fans on twitter are softer than baby shit.
That would have been funnier.Maybe he should have reworded it to "Leaked Bo Pelini speeches didn't have bleeps."
Totally serious response to this though: (and I'm a whiskey in tonight, so pardon the length and embellishment)
This is a nice antidote to some of the fanbases' emotional misgivings with what they have seen so far. You can look at it as Rhule saying "I see you". The OL and DL issues? Rhule's not oblivious to it. As far as recruitment and talent goes, we're effectively stuck with what we've planted for the season. Yeah, you might be short a couple ideal components, but so far most teams beyond a select few have a roster that are in similar boats with some missing reliable pieces. We can keep playing this game of "This team got X in the portal, why couldn't we get that?" But what did we get that the other team doesn't have? We have our acquisitonal wins. And we have our near misses. So do most teams. It makes sense we might still be missing a component or two though. We're not backed by Phil Knight unfortunately.
Michigan could totally make this post one to respond back to with receipts in a few weeks, but we have a 5-star sophomore QB who is so far acing his girdiron exams this season, even if it's a small sample size. Michigan is going through their own growing pains with a true freshman 5-star QB. But did they go into this season willing to put up with those developmental snags? Even when Dave Portnoy and Oracle's ex-CEO Ellison are willing to shove a shit ton of NIL money to get their ideal candidate? They didn't feel the need to portal a more experienced and reliable QB to mitigate any true freshman stumbles? Portnoy judges his pizza by the first bite. How does that new nibble in Norman taste to him?
I see this as Rhule knows what he has, and what he knows needs to get better. Fall camp is over. We're in season. Transfer portal isn't an option to fix things at this point. The ingredients list is set. But now he's putting his best pressure on the team to try and turn the pieces of roster that still resemble coal and hoping to develop them closer to diamonds as the season moves on. There's no Mike Riley "Hip hip hooray"s for simply winning a game. There's no pointing the finger and not the thumb, beyond his press conference appraisals that is merely for public digestion. Rhule sees the same stuff we see. Whether we arrived at this point is due to some mismanagement or a myopic view on his 2024 to 2025 roster, or simply money limitations is up for debate. Whether that insight means we clear all hurdles set forward this season is yet to be seen. Admittably, there is potential we could be fucked. It's what we're used to after all.
But it's nice to see we have a coach that actually gives a damn about the margins, and if the last two off seasons are any indications, he'll likely gravitate towards the proper priorities to correct through portal, development, or other after this season.
In the meantime, when things get fucked sideways, we can scream in the stadium or at the tv screen, or throw our remote or beverage container into the TV and continue screaming into the void that the dark monolith of a now-defunct viewing appratus presents us instead of a live game feed, but we can also understand that Rhule is a Cornhusker conduit likely screaming our frustrations directly into the faces of the players responsible. Probably more eloquently than us. He's the son of a minister after all. But he brings the fire and brimstone to where the team will hopefully Mongo-punch the Horsemen of the Apocalypse on their asses Blazing Saddles style.
