Give Me Your Concession Feedback

I don't understand vendors running out of food on a regular basis, especially so early. Just leaving tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table.

Baffling to me why the companies would let that be an ongoing thing - what am I missing?
Part of why Aramark up charges shit.

Runza and Vals used to be pretty good about this. Made on site

Beer stand by us would only sell 2 beers per transaction. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. I get the limit per person but transaction is stupid. Caused the line to be extremely long.

Is Valentino's any good these days? Getting the hamburger pizza that was cut into squares used to be a big deal growing up in my house. Always was a fight for those little corner pieces.

Nah it’s trash. But at a Husker game after it’s absorbed the flavor of the cardboard and I’m drunk as fuck, it’s the greatest pizza in the world.

Concessions in club were outstanding.

Edit: I had to drink an Ultra because they didn't have any Kros Strain when I got my 3rd beer. So that was inconvenient. They did restock for my 4th though.
Not sure what club you were in, but they were consistently out of pretzels, Runzas and hotdogs for the north side of the east stadium club. Hell, they couldn’t sell anything for the first 30 or so minutes after opening as they didn’t have credit card machines. The solo beer guy couldn’t sell anything other than beer for some reason even though other concessions were available.

I think they messed up with getting rid of the food/drink hawkers
Agreed. Letting people walk up and down the aisles with Val's, Runza, Water, whatever would keep the lines way down from what they were.

South stadium sucked and was nothing but long lines and crowded from 20 minutes pregame to end of 3rd quarter. Just from the people around us it was at least 20+ minute wait once in line.

Luckily we found a pizza lady with a full bag and got pizza right away. She sold feet from her pickup spot.

This is what it looked like midway 2nd quarter.

Went to the game last night, and I was wondering how things would go with adding alcohol sales to the mix. Also, a co-workers son used to sell Val's or Runza's at the game, but he wasn't allowed to this year. I wasn't sure if it was due to him still being in high school, alcohol sales, or them just getting rid of it completely. I did see a Val's vendor, but just one for the entire game on the West Stadium. Someone also mentioned they just made them hourly now and aren't paying them per slice sold, but unsure if that's true.

My son wanted popcorn, twizzlers, and a Gatorade so we waited in about a 10-15 minute line. Didn't think it was horrible for before the game, but of course we picked a stand that didn't have Twizzlers so he got popcorn and Gatorade. 2nd Quarter he needed to go to the bathroom so figured would get some then, waited another 10-15 minutes, seemed pretty long for during the game. They did have a "self-serve" beer section that I think they should just house all the beer at. That line went way quicker than the general concession line, and it would shorten the food/regular concession lines. The regular lines were blocking restroom entries as well as tunnels to get to seat sections.

Wasn't sure if people had better or worse experiences. I also think not being able to re-enter kept the stadium feeling pretty full. But if I go without my son sometime I'm just bringing shooters and not dealing with those lines.

So are they just completely done with the teenagers walking around selling the Runzas and Vals in the concourses?
