The Happy Ending Society

Will be waiting at the metaphorical ticket booth starting the morning of Michigan. We slay that beast, and yeah you can take my money for this ride.

That’s where I’m at.

Great step last night, beating the dog crap out of a bad football team. For years it’s seemed like we couldn’t do that on either side of the ball against anyone, so that’s encouraging.

Beat what is a talent rich but not great Michigan team and I’m not going to try to hide the four hour erection.

Half Measures Mike GIF by Breaking Bad

I’ve believed since day one MR was a coach capable of jump starting this long dead Big Red Engine. The day we signed a real QB for the first time in 20 years, I knew we were finally on a track capable of success.

We have a capable, experienced INTELLIGENT staff we have not seen since the Osborne Era (IMO)

All the pieces are in place. The last piece was to see this team overcome themselves and start playing like a championship caliber team. I saw flickers last season.

Coming into week one, I had more confidence in the Husker program this year than I’ve had since the early Pelini years.

Everything passes the eyeball test. This season will reap recruiting rewards that will fill in the small holes left on the roster that need plugged.

No more timid hopefulness for me. No more half measures. All-IN
