It was 68 with the absolutely dookie red zone offense in the first quarter

Mozee was impressive. That kid needs to play. Might be our most elusive, explosive player on offense. He can play hybrid slot and RB. I see not only a very bright future for him, but we realistically need his contributions this season.
Lateef looked very good. Very athletic, super strong arm, just looks very talented.
There are several other youngsters that looked good, also. We sorely needed a game like this were we completely kicked ass and got those younger guys a qtr or more of reps and confidence. First time that's happened in a long time.

I honestely don't know the last time we kicked ass like this. It's been a helluva long time. These kinds of wins not only get young talent a qtr or more or reps and confidence, but they give the whole team confidence and that feeling of going into games EXPECTING to win. This teams needs to get that "we expect to win" every game attitude back.
Akron Zippos are bad. But this is what really good teams do to really bad teams. Mission accomplished tonight.
