I actually thought we'd get Tessitore (their 2nd string) on Thursday as opposed to Mark Jones (like their 5th string).
Tessitore makes the game feel more elite. Jones makes the game feel like an 11pm WAC game.
The interesting thing is ESPN is so in bed with the SEC/ACC that I don't think they would have wanted Tessitore to be screaming about a B1G team. Actually I think he would have been quite muted for any good thing Nebraska did. That's how tribal this B1G/FOX vs ESPN (SEC/ACC) has become.

I’ve often tried to make sense of our recruiting rankings relative to the results. For a long time I felt like some of the services would give our recruits rating bumps post commitment just to inflate our rating. Nebraska fans are worth a lot of clicks so there is a monetary benefit to keeping us engaged with recruiting.

It'd be a really funny exercise to list all the 4 stars who got downgraded because Nebraska commitment and see the tens of yards and dozen of tackles they produced

I think Nebraska fans have a tendency to see any southern team play and imagine they're out there running 5 mph faster than every B1G team. We've got cuck glasses.
