There is one major difference. FSU has all the talent they need in their back yard. NIL should even things up some. I still don’t know how FSU, Florida, and Miami can’t be top programs all the time.

I agree. That should never happen. Coaching definitely matters. Norvell would have probably been fired if it wasn’t for the NIL era.

Anyone who thought he wasn’t a bad loss is stupid. I have no idea how Butler will be long term, but White was a good DC.
In even the best scenario, there’s going to be a learning curve here. Hopefully Butler and the new staff has IT.

It’s a lot harder to make those buy out firings when you have to spend money on the players. NIL has helped coaches keep their jobs. I don’t know if it will work out for Norvell in the end, but he atleast went out and hired two quality coordinators.
