Back in the day my uncle’s friend coached high school ball for awhile and abused Larry Frost’s Wood River team in a game. He said he was too dumb to figure out the green dog blitz. When Mel Tucker beat us in Boulder he said after the game he kept using the green dog blitz in the second half because Nebraska was having problems with it. I got a good laugh after listening to Tucker.

I summed up my feelings about Frost to one of my co-workers like this...
If Scott Frost was an investment, I would have put every dime I had into him because I was 100% confident that he would succeed at Nebraska. That is a valuable lesson on the importance of diversification.

Sheeeeesh... props to Jason Peter for still trying to help make it work as a volunteer during those last two years despite Frost being a total clown. People make fun of JP for being a blowhard and all of that, but the dude legitimately loves NU.
