I posted a thread like this on my other forum, but TPB seems like a great place or even better.

I love knives, hatchets, and axes. I always have a EDC (every day carry) in my pocket plus my razor knife when I'm working. Thought I'd start a thread about the knives you recommend, your EDCs, your for fun, your splurge, your technical, for work, blades for camping or the woods, or even for protection.

I've had a CRKT flipper forever, and have bought the same one when I've lost it. I've forgotten the name and will post the name and pic tomorrow, but it wasn't expensive and takes a beating.

Just purchased a red (will help when I place it down and forget where plus Go Dawgs) CRKT CEO Flipper. Reviews were good for it as a EDC, and under $65 so not a splurge.

I also have a CRKT (I like their stuff obviously) Odr Black axe. Nice to keep handy in my ride and I take camping as well. Works nicely to break ground up if needed due to pick axe backside, and its' sharp axe blade works well making fire starter.

For work I have several push button razor knives, but carrying lots of weight gets old so recently bought Rivery MFG Zero Utility Knife with the grenade pattern for grip. I'm loving it so far except when changing the blade which takes a second to figure out again.

What are y'all using or wanting to buy?

I carry a Strider SnG.
Too lazy to go upstairs and grab a pic, but I’ve carried it for about 15-16 years.
Great knife.

Paid $6 for mine! It's my "truck knife".

I've got a variety of EDC pocket knives. My son gifted me with a couple of Benchmade knives for Father's Day last year, and there's a smaller, lighter one with G7 grips that I really like as my go-to. I carry the larger one when I'm in the woods in a pocket, along with my "splurge" knife - a Dozier - on my belt.

Edited for pics:

I EDC a Leatherman Juice SC2. A couple years ago, I lost my old Juice S2 to TSA when I forgot to leave it at home. 😅 Leatherman discontinued the Juice line and doesn't make anything comparable, so no obvious replacement. I tried out a couple other options like the SOG Powerpint, but it was ass compared to my old Leatherman. So I ended up going on eBay and overpaying for a used Juice - still the best for its size.

Had an HK model close to the p30 knife before i lost it (maybe stolen) in a move. That thing was fucking tits. Button lock assisted knife with half the blade serrated, small profile with great blade strength. May have been when HK and Bench made were collaborating. Was probably an $80 knife a decade ago that performed like a $200 knife.

Pick of the Discontinued HK P30, similar profile but mine was a button lock and did not have the texture grip.
