I've noticed a bunch of rankings online the last week or so. Some of them are pretty ridiculous. Going into the season, who do you think are the five best quarterbacks in the Big 10? You can pick five players.

I voted Allar, Moore, Raiola, Altmeyer, and Mendoza. Don't like the idea of Sayin being a top 5 qb considering he's never played a snap but I've noticed a lot of people ranking him top 5. Gronowski and Iamaleava seem like the dark horses

So many players, that are expected to be good, we haven’t seen play much with their current team, or haven’t seen them play at all…

Probably couple others I’m forgetting. I think that 5th spot in this exercise is a total crapshoot. You can pick about anyone and state your reasons.

That is kind of how I voted. Who are the five guys we can actually say we know what we have? I dont think its right to project someone like Sayin or Underwood as a top QB until they actually get out there and do something. The list can change a lot between now and December.

Allar is so overrated...I've never seen him play well in a big game or in the clutch. Underwood, Sayin, and Moore are all "prove it" guys to me. Mendoza will be playing in a QB-friendly offense, but I have no clue how good he is because Cal was so bad.

If Allar ends the year as B1G QB1, he's either taken a big step or it's a pretty down year for QB play. He's a Will Howard type IMO. Will win with a talented roster, but won't elevate it.
Not sure what to make of Moore. Obviously a ton of talent on that team, but didn't exactly light it up at UCLA
Fade Iamaleava. Was a weak link in an add water offense at Tennessee and it's not getting easier in Pasadena.

That's who I put in my top 5. Watching him vs ORE and LOU last year, he was insane.

Also have a lot of questions about the 2025 Fat Berts. Lot of skill position production lost. McCray to UGA. Lost 80% of production at WR (including a 3rd round pick). Wouldn't be surprised to see regression from the offense/Altmeyer.
