I have no problem with the barkers. I feel like that is a perfectly reasonable action as a Georgia fan assuming done at appropriate venues.
Like Lee said, it’s a combination of “gotten out of hand” and “winning a lot”. We certainly had a “win at all costs” reputation in sports media back in the 90s because of all incidents being publicized. We were super defensive of it, and we complained that everyone else has the same issues but no one is reporting out on it like they did to us.
Success comes with a sense of entitlement and notoriety. When you win your players feel like they are untouchable and at the same time the number of eyeballs on the players goes up.
