The guy who made it a point to talk about how he doesn't own any Husker gear is hurt that a social media post from that university didn't show him any loyalty by having some good-natured fun.

I've always laughed at Dean's doofishness, but never really hated the guy. These are stratospheric levels of narcissism, entitlement, and low-character self-absorbtion though.

Threw such a big fit that Matt Rhule had to tweet something so Dean could save face.

It was a 4D chess move by Rhule to have the press field punts. Not gonna be so easy to be overly critical of the team when there’s clips of you looking like a mouth-breathing dork. The coup de grace is that he flamed out after that.

Furthermore, Dean is a true dumbass if he thinks that he’s been nothing but supportive of the program. In fact, his support has been a detriment at times.

1. He led us to believe things about the program that simply weren’t true. I.E, state of the program.

2. Anything having to do with Scott Frost.

3. Endless sunshine pumping, setting the fanbase up for disappointment, which then leads to the same kinda of relentless attacks to the TEAM NOT DEAN about where they’re at. The reason it’s a joke that we are off-season champs is because the sunshine pumping is insane and totally unhealthy. Sure, hope and desire are expected and encouraged, but delusion is not.

4. Actively denying criticism and first hand accounts on the state of the program from Insidehers.

Bonus: not having a platform during their transition to On3 was an all-time moment.

Thankfully, these things happened because it led to the creation of this realm of critical thought and degeneracy.

Agreed. He’s all butt hurt over looking silly missing a punt. We had players riding on ponies roping that had probably never been on a horse, eating wings with their gloves on, pulling tractors…. The day was about having fun doing silly things. His hissy fit will only make him more of a laughing stock with the staff and team. Sean made this about himself.
