Most of the sports talk genre is based on that. Skip is definitely on the Mount Rushmore of talking shit and spiking dopamine levels of the listening audience.

That was awful, really really bad takes by Bayless. Sounds like an old guy rant instead of any media insight. Seriously a racist collusion plot against Sanders? Just admit that 32 independent teams have not found him worth a pick so far.

Every interview I’ve heard from draft insiders who speak to GMs, HCs, and scouts have said the same exact things:
1. Sanders is a third round talent. Never really should have been higher than that.
2. Like all 3rd rounders, you’re not much different from a fifth or sixth rounder. Basically you are in the 80% of rookies.
3. In this range teams start to evaluate the intangibles and greatly value those things to choose their pick.
4. Sanders declined to meet with a lot of teams limiting the field.
5. There were zero reports of Sanders doing well in the interviews he agreed to take. Things like “as soon as he was questioned on something he told the coach ‘’maybe this isn’t the team for me.’” Or in other words, coaches expect players to really care about these interviews and come prepared, yet he shows up like everyone should beg to draft him.
His confidence works when his daddy is his coach and dictating everything for him. When other grown men with their own careers are on the line, they aren’t going to tolerate it.
I really hope he goes undrafted.
