It’s going to be interesting to see how the portal works now. What I mean is that a lot of teams will have their Rev Share numbers figured out. Do you save some money in January for one or two players you want in April?

My guess is you fill up when you can and then bank on losing a few that then gives you the space to add. But it’ll be interesting to see how it’s managed moving forward

I think the rev share budget for RBs is likely gone. If so, they might have to hope for a NIL hero who will hire him and actually give him a visible role marketing his/her business. Or cut someone in the room who is getting rev sharing.

Warren Buffet could probably turn the state blue if he donated massive sums of money to football and let everyone know about it.

What would they do with it if he did? What the school can pay is capped at the revenue sharing limit; what is left is "real NIL" which has to pass a FMV analysis as an arm's length transaction for services rendered.

Neither collectives nor the school can dole out donations to players any longer (post-House, that is).
