Brice Williams is the best Nebrasketball player since…?

Ty Lue is greater than Brice…his team won the NIT and went to the dance.

And that’s not taking anything away from Brice…his talent was wasted here with a weak supporting cast.
Or is the weak supporting cast what allowed him to do what he did this year?

I've said since early in the season that Bryce has NBA level game. Even if he doesn't get drafted, he will get a shot and picked up somewhere. Then it is a matter of how he plays at that level. He may be a G League guy who gets two way call ups. But I think he will get a shot.

As far as where he lands on the not large Husker board of BBall greats, he is in the top 5 IMO.

Not at Nebraska was he in the dance.

Did you forget last season?

I can understand the confusion.

Like every other trip to ‘The Dance’, the music starts, we get up off our folding chair, slip on a non existent object and face plant.

It’s such a short period of time between ‘WE MADE IT!’ and ‘You’re kidding. Right?’ that most trips could have easily be mistaken for missing out.

I'd say he's light years better than Bronny so I'm certain he'll be drafted....

As a seasoned player, no question. He's also 5 inches taller than Bronny. Bryce is a very good shooter, 3 level scorer, good enough defender, can handle the rock and initiate some, plus I think he will be a good catch and shoot 3 pt guy. I think he has the size at 6'-7" and other areas of his game where a team will look at him as a guy who can contribute at least some fairly quickly given he is not a young, deer in the headlights, one and done type of player. More teams now like seasoned, older college players who have settled in to what they can do - less risk for teams as they know more about players like that, plus most of those guys are later first round or even 2nd round picks, where a team is not usually looking to land a star or major contributor.

Surprisingly, Bronny has been tearing it up in the G League for a while now, and has gotten some actual NBA game run here and there, and he has taken a big step up that many did not expect given how bad he was in very limited opportunities earlier in the season. I can actually see him being a pretty athletic, smaller guard who defends well and it looks like now his shooting has ticked way up along with the rest of he game. He may pan out to be a good role player off the bench for the Lakers or some team. And I did not expect that kind of jump from him.
