2025 Tunnel Walk/Stadium Music

I really think the university needs to take a major look into the gameday atmosphere including music. It’s been the same song bytes for 20+ years - from when it’s a third down, to when the defense comes on the field, etc. All the same. Even the band hasn’t switched things up.

This argument is tiresome. While music can be upgraded, the people who think the stadium atmosphere is lacking are regurgitating an old narrative.

Does the crowd get antsy and restless when Nebraska is struggling vs. Louisiana Tech at 11 am? Hell yes, but that has a LOT more to do with the fact the crowd has to stomach the possibility of losing to Louisiana Tech at 11 am on a Saturday morning.

Very true and I agree with you. I don’t think my point is on the verge of we need better music to get the crowd to win us games. It’s more of holy smokes, we still play the same things over and over again.

I for one am not arguing.
Pretty sure the Stadium needs new and improved sound systems.
New PA tech is amazing so there's that solution.

No clue on what the songs are currently (other than Sirius) which I think pays Alan Parson's mortgage every year.

Just dont copy another school is all I ask. Yeah, I know the Bulls had Sirius first, but that was pre internet and you'd have to research the fact.

Certainly don't use Sandman - even the horrible version in the OP - that's Va Tech's scene.
And no GnR as 100s use Jungle.
Play it at a random change of possession in the 2nd Qtr, but not as a showcase song like the 2nd half entry or 3rd/4th switch.

And yeah, stop fuckin' losing to LA Tech or Ball St. at 11am, or any other time for that matter.

I still say this would make good entrance music. Little intro section while they're playing stuff on Huskervision, and then boom.
