Talked with my buddy who is fairly connected with all of these local kids (he is younger and went to high school with the Millard North guys). I straight up asked him if Chucky and Hunter were coming here. He said he didn't know, but definitely confirmed that there are legitimate talks going on behind the scenes of this scenario. He added that Fiddler is also in play.
I asked him about Chucky and Hunter not getting along. He said that they didn't like each other at all in high school, but now have grown to respect the other and are actually buddies now - they just needed to get away from each other and out of the other's shadow.
So, while my buddy couldn't confirm that it is for sure happening, conversations are at least definitely being had...which is more than I would have expected...

Sallis would be very surprising, wouldn’t it? Isn’t he projected to go like 10th-12th in the NBA draft?

I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell we're getting Sallis. At a minimum he's a 1st rd projection today. 1st rounders carry guaranteed contracts. He'd be stupid to pass on that. 2nd rounders aren't guarnteed. So maybe if something changed there he could come back and play college ball...but I'm betting that's not happening.
Williams III, Fiddler, and Chucky seem more logical...and even at that feels like a long shot. If we were somehow able to get 1 or 2 of them, that'd be a yuge deal.

I completely agree. That is what I was thinking and expecting when I asked my buddy. I mean, he isn't apart of the actual conversations, so he doesn't know the details and how serious it is. But his reaction the moment I asked the question made it very clear that conversations are legitimately happening.

Yes, it would be a HUGE surprise. But I haven't seen him anywhere close to that high. Late first round/second round is what I have seen.

I don’t get how this rumor gets started every year? If we’re going to fantasize about transfers, I would rather have it involve a lot better player than Fucky.
