The season is going to be a success, B1G is doing everything they can for us to succeed

I’m pretty sure these were the high hurdles Sip was talking about the other morning.

Then you toss in the 7.5% infection threshold for the community population and you’ve got a fat stinky turd hiding in a Neiman Marcus bag.

If they schedule us either Buttgers, Michigan St, Michigan, Northwestern, Illinois or Maryland for our 1st game there’s good chance we don’t even start on the 24th.

You don’t think they’d do that to us do you?

Yeah, he didn’t really have the details and it’s not exactly “if one teams quits the whole season is over” but it’s pretty damn close. If one team has a breakout (by B1G standards) and have say 8-10 players test positive, then that team has to cancel it’s next game (which means the team they are playing must cancel too) and sit those 8-10 players for 3 weeks. Which means you have to basically make 3 weeks without any additional positive tests, cause those will just lump together with the 8-10 players already in quarantine. Plus you’ll probably have cancel your next game too because you’ll have no chance of dropping below the 5% threshold with additional players testing positive.

It may not be “if one team quits/cancels the whole season is over” but one can definitely see how the snowball effect can potentially occur if as many as 1 team is forced to cancel.

Yep. Stupid.

All if this is on point and not wrong...I’m just struggling with the idea that if the other conferences are playing, it’s gonna be awfully hard for the B1G to pull the rug out again...yes?
