McNamara is a better QB than they have, but like every Cockeye QB in the Ferentz era (aside from Banks) he's not a dynamic playmaker. He'll be a guy that operates within the system running the same Cockeye offense they've run since 1999.
They may bounce Brian, but this is Kirk's offense. Hasn't changed since Kirk was there and McNamara going there changes nothing.

Then, as disbigred1 said, McNamara will have fewer WR to throw to. Charlie Jones is a senior, not sure if he returns next season.
