It’s like the Olympics for thoroughbred racing. Best horses from around the globe. Two days of racing. They rotate the venue in the US from year to year. It’s always the first week of November.
I’m borderline horse racing degenerate. I grew up working at NYRA racetracks in HS and College.

I somehow missed this thread but very jealous OP, the Breeders is on my bucket list. My brother and I love horse racing and so far the biggest race we have ever done in person is the Arkansas Derby.
(Hot springs AR is a good fucking time tho)

That’s awesome! Yeah two of my longtime friends (brothers) went to Lexington for Breeders Cup this weekend. I guess Keenland is absolutely beautiful!
I’d love to got to the Arkansas Derby! My older brother treated me to the Kentucky Derby in 2006. That’ was amazing!
I’d recommend you and your brother adding Saratoga Racecourse and the the Travers Stakes (end of August) they call it the “mid summer Derby.” Beautiful track, oldest track in country. Beautiful city, Saratoga Springs NY. 👍

As are the big 3 and Santa Anita, Del Mar, Gulfstream, etc
I won’t be able to do any of this for a few years because my wife just had our 2nd son and if I even went to an OTB right now she would kill me. (let alone flying across the country to watch the ponies)
