Sign Up Now!Meh, some dudes just hit a point where they are done with college. Don't think another year at NU would improve his stock much, especially not with Dawson instead of Tony T coaching him.Daniels made a horrible mistake
I assumed there would be at least 2 dozen draft picks so there's lots of egg on my facemaybe this team isn't the most talented team of all time right Fam?
Define irreplaceable. He was by far our best interior lineman. Almost zero chance anyone on the roster will be nearly as good next year.Daniels had a good year for Nebraska in 2021. However, this shows that he wasn’t as good as some fans think. Certainly not irreplaceable.
Daniels wasn’t ready to play at a high level until last year. It’s not insane to think kids who are farther along than he was as a freshman or sophomore will be better next year.Define irreplaceable. That doesn't mean Daniels is superman, just means we didn't have anything behind him ready to play at a high level.
I don't think the guys behind Daniels have the natural ability that Daniels had. Talent-wise, they are a step down.Daniels wasn’t ready to play at a high level until last year. It’s not insane to think kids who are farther along than he was as a freshman or sophomore will be better next year.
Who specifically are you referring to?I don't think the guys behind Daniels have the natural ability that Daniels had. Talent-wise, they are a step down.
Well we really only have Nash and Black.Who specifically are you referring to?
Robinson can play inside. So can Rogers. Both more talented than Daniels. Stille is a tougher replacement but also very replaceableWell we really only have Nash and Black.
Right. I guess I expect them to go to an even front more so it wont be either directly substituting for DanielsWell we really only have Nash and Black.
You're pry right about the even fronts but DL will take a big step back in 2022.Right. I guess I expect them to go to an even front more so it wont be either directly substituting for Daniels
Maybe. You're pry right about the even fronts but DL will take a big step back in 2022.
We really only have two decent DL on the team right now - Robinson and Rogers, who is coming off of an injury that kept him out of a good chunk of the season last year. Neither are playmakers, just solid guys.Maybe.
Maybe. Maybe not. Not one person on this board is would have been lamenting Daniels loss knowing the player he was coming into this season so the book isn't quite closed on what Rogers and Robinson are.We really only have two decent DL on the team right now - Robinson and Rogers, who is coming off of an injury that kept him out of a good chunk of the season last year. Neither are playmakers, just solid guys.
Robinson can play inside, but that's not where he's best at. I don't think Rogers is as talented as Daniels either. There's a bunch of nobodies behind Robinson and Rogers so if either go down then we are proper fucked.Robinson can play inside. So can Rogers. Both more talented than Daniels. Stille is a tougher replacement but also very replaceable
After 3-9 is it really possible to take a big step back? Hell, go 5-7 and that’s a step forwardYou're pry right about the even fronts but DL will take a big step back in 2022.
