Yeah I've been stationed in eastern Connecticut for a while and have been to my fair share of Yankee games. My point was more that the subway and train station is way simpler than trying to drive in or park. At least in my opinion. It drops you off like a few blocks away. And yeah into Hartford...

You can also fly into like Hartford and take the train and subway in.
