I'm very concerned about this game and next week's game too. I think both MSU and Maryland are sneaky good and we won't get a ton of credit for wins over either one of them.
Who am I kidding, I worry about every game.
NU 34- MSU 27

I hope your right. I think 8 or 9 with a bowl game is definitely on the table.
But MSU, @Maryland, @Minny, USC, @PSU, Cockeye feels like 3 to 4 losses right now.
MSU will tell us a lot.
I thought 7 wins after Cincy and had brief visions of 9 or 10 after the two scrimmages going into UM. I'm stuck somewhere between 7 and 8. USC and PSU will be tough. MSU is no slouch. Maryland feels like a trap. If we won this week, I'll definitely think 8, but I'm sticking with 7 until they...
I was driving over Independence pass in Colorado this summer with family and we stopped to hike down to the ghost town. A storm quickly rolled in and we're above tree line at almost 12k, so I quickly got us back to the car. We keep driving and get to the top of the pass and people are walking up...
It's because we can't run the ball when we need to or, we refuse to run the ball when we should. If we throw another fade pass on second down at the 3-yard line I'm going to have a coronary.
My biggest positive from the Michigan game was we didn't fold down 10-0 early. We did show some fight.
He sure hasn't helped his own cause, but I'm not even certain we can firmly state they missed on Pritchett. He played 6 snaps against UM when our LT was objectively the worst performing player on the field.
With the bye week, I would expect some changes up front. They need to figure something out.
Raiola is through game 4 of year 2. He's averaging nearly 300 yds per game, completing 75% of his throws, and has thrown 11 TDs and 1 INT.
He has limited ability to hurt you with his legs and he held on to the ball too long on a few occasions in the UM game. Ok....
The hate comes purely from...
Dylan played well enough to win and this is in no way an indictment of his play. However, given our Oline issues, his lack of mobility is going to cause us problems all year long. Our tackles have been exposed and he cannot penalize the rush with his legs effectively enough. Ends are going to...
This was the most disappointing decision of the game. Have we learned nothing from the Frost debacle? Oh yeah, we were going to take what we want.
We must have wanted L's because that's all we took when we left points on the field seemingly every week.
From my first watch, I think this is a exactly what we did against UM. We were shooting 7 or 8 and if they got through the first wave, our remaining safety takes a bad angle and voila.... touchdown.
Unfortunately, it's what we had to do or they were going to run for 6 to 8 yards a crack...
When we have no threat of a running game, they can just tee off all day long. That's part of the issue. The other part of the issue is our tackles just aren't athletic.
