Sitake to BYU is fascinating to me. I actually think he’s a tremendous coach. His teams play hard as hell, physical, and are always a tough out. Players seem to love him.
That said, coaching at BYU is a different animal. Recruiting to BYU is completely different than recruiting to Penn State.
Stein I feel like might want to wait it out for a better SEC or Big Ten job. He’s still really young. He is a Kentucky native however, and his father played at UK.
wish him the best. Seems like he genuinely feels called back to his home country. From the ESPN piece on him, didn’t get the impression that he really was in love with football.
