The boys are obviously in a slump, both hitting and pitching. In these trying times we must turn to @SlumpBuster for his sage advise. IMO we need the coeds to help these boys out and throw them a bone. If not, these boys need to strap on the spurs and go hogging. They need to go to O street and...
I'd agree with you. No need to shift on almost every hitter. What happened to the art of pitching and throwing off-speed pitches on the outside corner to a pull hitter?
What's your thoughts on all the defensive shifts? That 2nd single he gave up just got past our 3rd baseman, who was playing between 3rd and SS, and could have been a double play or at least an out if there was no shift. That was their 3 hitter batting .400. I'd think he doesn't get to batting...
The taller one is my coworker and his brother. He's had badges for +20 years. I got to go with him last year for all 4 days! Definitely a bucket list item and so glad I got to go. He gets on TV all the time because he's 6'8 and on Sunday he puts his chairs on 15 green in front of the grand stand.
You mean that it's actually easier to get ppl to watch a game at 2:30pm on a Sunday when the only thing to compete against is a no-name golf tournament then Monday night at 8:20pm CST?? Color me shocked.
I agree with you. He was wild last year. He only pitched 17 innings and gave up 23 hits with a 5.29 ERA. I was talking with a friend and we're very shocked by his turnaround. He definitely figured something out during summer league last year.
Yes, they do this all the time but it takes both teams to agree to it. Sometimes the crappier team makes some lame excuse because they don't want another loss. See Charleston earlier this year.
