Cal didn’t look like it did much to establish a running game there.
Looks like SDSU tackles well, fills gaps and has a nose for the ball.
Also looks like their weakest point was over the top big plays.
The problem is when those handful of plays go for house calls or 30+.
The team missed basic assignments all year and it ended up making our elite secondary look shitty by the end because they had to pick up the holes of the other 2 levels.

TJ Lateef is doing an active tryout on Saturday for Penn State.
Dylan is going straight to the CFL because he likes the opportunity to get an extra 10 yards on his passing stats on each drive and believes it’ll help his road to the NFL.
I’m not against the idea that Lateef is more suited for the team. I know he is more suited to what Dana wants to do.
I just wouldn’t put the cart before the horse. If he plays well, win or lose, against the next two I’d be convinced. I don’t expect him to be perfect, but those are tougher...
How many of Lateef’s passing yards were after the catch?
You can break this type of stuff up all day.
The truth is Nebraska has two very capable or better QBs with different skill sets.
