I could be dead wrong, but I think it's just optimism at a "sexy" position. Singleton is the best player still available, and I don't think it's even close...
I need more information before I can give an answer. How does the "sinking" occur? Are the residents given ample time to evacuate? Because if they are, California is not the right answer. They are already leaving the state and ruining everywhere else...
Listen, I've been a Henry fan since we first started recruiting him. I liked him more than Teddy as a prospect. But I'm not even positive that he is currently one of the top 5 OL on this team. I mean, he is...but it's not *that* clear. Rocco, Evans and Pritchett are all ahead of him. And an...
Let me present the case for Andrew Marshall - he is really good.
Not only will he lockdown the other CB spot, but I could see him making an impact on special teams. He was the kickoff returner for Idaho, where he averaged over 40 yards a return (8 returns for 327 yards and a TD).
Andrew Marshall needs to get some love. The fact that he could end up being our best defensive player this year and is hardly getting votes is insane...
Dose of reality - what is one recruit that was downgraded after committing to us that they were wrong about? Raridon was the one we were all upset about...and the recruiting services were right.
Hartzog should be in a more natural position at the nickel.
Aand I agree that, on paper, our DL should be taking a step back. But this DL group is in much better shape than the 2023 DL room, and that group ended up being salty as hell. Everyone was worried about the DL going into 2023 - it was...
I think there is a lot of truth to this. Colorado was doomed to fail this year and it would have been a huge stain on Deion's coaching resume. But now they can suck and it won't be Deion's fault because of the cancer. Then he can now out next year and no one will blame him for it....
This is oddly one of my reasons for optimism. Seems like we in the past we have used these promo videos to get hyped. But now, I think Rhule knows that we need to see results on the field and he is wanting our play on the field be the reason for the hype.
Or at least that's my hope...
Fidone is a guy who, if he stays healthy, we will be scratching our heads as to why he didn't have a bigger impact here. I think he is going to crush it in the NFL.
Cam had a quiet solid year last year. He brings a lot of experience in a room that doesn't have a lot. Going into year three, I expect a big jump for him.
