And Gundy has always respected Nebraska. I'm not saying it's a lock to happen or anything, but I would not be shocked if he is in Lincoln in some capacity sooner than later.
I'd imagine that this is far from a "Nebraska" issue. In fact, I think that Nebraska is likely a bit behind and other states have been having this issue for years. I honestly don't know how you fix it - especially if you want what's best for the individuals.
You might be right. But Cockeye greatly benefited from playing in the weak West. Now that the divisions are gone, I think they are in for a wake-up call. In addition, their coach is in his very last years, potential last year, and their program is way behind in the times.
ISU is not very good IMO.
- Yes, the game in Dublin came with its own, unique challenges. But they looked like crap against a KSU team that shouldn't have a win (they were trailing with under a minute left...).

I'm not sure. I told my sister that I thought Nebraska was still going to push hard to flip Darion and she said that there is no chance. He is graduating early and will be at Cockeye in January. That being said, my sister has no clue about recruiting or any of this. She just knows what her friend...
I edited my original post. I accidentally said that their dad is a Husker fan. He isn't...he is a Cockeye fan. Nebraska was very interested and was definitely recruiting him. I really think that Nebraska did everything they could, but he was pretty set on Cockeye.
I don't go to many games. Probably haven't been to one in about 10 years. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it. But I prefer watching it on TV. I love arguing with broadcasters.
I grew up with my parents hosting mild watch parties. My parents didn't drink growing up...so they weren't anything crazy...
Darion's mom is a "Husker" fan, but his dad is a pretty big Cockeye fan. My sister is fairly close with his mom.
