The only success he’s had was as a starter at the beginning of last year. Maybe another ‘change of scenery’ would jumpstart him again. Team is in desperate need of SPs after the last two weekends so why not try it?

Yeah his offense leaves a lot to be desired, but we wouldn’t have beat Oregon or Washington without him so he brings value.
I’m speaking on his ft shooting specifically, and though his percentage may not be as high as you want he has made the ones that have been most important so far.
71% I’d say is relatively average. Problem is outside of Brice there’s not many guys you’re super confident in making clutch fts. So far Rollie has stepped up and done that though. Comparing him to the best ft shooter in the country isn’t really apples to apples.
He’s missed 20 fts on the year and 9 of those came in 2 games (UTRGV and Cockeye). He’s 71% on the year and has actually made quite a few clutch fts of late.
Edit (posted too soon): I feel just fine with him handling the ball to ice games and apparently so does Fred. He made 2 fts late yesterday...
Last year it seemed like all of our HRs came in the same few games. I don’t disagree overall, but we also had a bunch of pivotal games that seemed like we just couldn’t break through with the big inning that was needed.
