An underrated worry is the blocking we are going to get from TE2 when in heavy sets or 12 personnel. I think losing Markway is a far more crushing loss than we anticipated. Mozee and Nelson both would have had big runs if haarberg and Carter would have got their blocks.

I think the optimistic way to look at this season, is making this season a springboard into 2026. That doesn’t mean this season isn’t incredibly important, but if we get to 8-9 wins we should have tangible momentum going into the next offseason, and we will be able to plug holes on the roster...
