Not every starter on defense should have a blackshirt. A blackshirt should be reserved for the best of the bunch. The top five or six. If you have 11 blackshirts, you should have the best defense in America.

Not sure why people are against this tradition. It basically gets rid of bum players wearing the best numbers. I remember not too long ago. We had walk-ons wearing #1

Jase’s family is LOADED. Multimillion dollar house with a pool, boat, on a lake. No kidding. Makes me think the reason Nebraska took him is to be a “culture walkon” like Rhule mentioned. He can certainly afford to pay tuition.

We only took one CB last class. Huskers are definitely taking at least 3 this year. That’s why so many have scheduled OVs.
