I’m in favor of them buying MR out and hiring him. NU would win in that scenario. Don’t think that happens though. Think MR leverages this into a contract extension thus miring NU further into highly overpriced subpar mediocrity.

Time will tell. Rhule seems to hinder himself through some sort of confirmation bias. If he ends up making changes only to bring in assistants that other top programs would never hire (based upon their ties to Nebraska, ties to him, etc.), then we should already know how it will end up.
