Unfortunately he’s the best thrower we’ve ever had. His o line is trash and he lacks a run game to offset the blanket coverage
But that doesn’t negate the fact that WRs are open often in the 3 sec window and he’s more afraid of throwing in tight coverage to mess with his completion % except...
Id take Trae over him and Thomalla all day.. understand its two years out.
is Warren or Thomalla better than Dylan.2? also what are Missouri and Alabama payin these kids for comparison?
No argument on lack of NIL funds. A simple search says 34% (76mil) of our fiscal budget came from donors. Which means they help fund the operating costs for an overinflated staff that could be allocated to buying the players we need. That’s all I’m trying to say.
To exacerbate things, we can’t afford top tier DL, OL, and Rbs but have one of the most expensive operating budgets in college. And more staff positions than ever before to produce slightly above average results. Confusing to say the least.
8 wins would be great. Still this isn’t “flash in a pan with better job waiting” year 3. This is the best conference in football and he already had to redo his entire staff. To me he’s still rebuilding and we’re getting outpaced by mid tier teams (IU, IL) with less resources.
I don’t buy he...
welp. Is the massage parlor squad ready stop bein delusional yet? We are what some thought we were. Going In the right direction? Yep. Ways to go though. 7 maybe 8 win team.
If we’re truly at 30-40 in total NIL and all the talk is to be a fringe playoff team how would that possibly happen long term if we can’t fund the roster?
As well the rumor that if we beat Meechicken then we will get properly funded. It doesn’t math right to me.
