This is my frustration when one of these abhorrent events happen. Both sides are quick to paint a politically motivated picture through tribalism, and because of social media, that shit gets shared everywhere by grifters looking to capitalize on it.

our number one issue is trawlers and accidentally bycatch but that’s been an issue for years with no action being done. It’s just destroys the ecosystem.

It seems to be a combination of things: 1. Commercial fishing practices 2. Over abundance of pink salmon are outcompeting them on food in the ocean. 3.headwaters becoming too warm at times during the summer.
