It's not for everybody. But for people like myself...every time I try to stop coaching, a year later I'm back on the field. Just love the interaction with the kids and other coaches.
When you're constantly in 4th and short and you run a program that's comfortable fighting in a phone booth (like our HC does) you don't mind the challenge.
We also, coincidentally, are very good at defending 4th and short plays.
