Northwestern isn't a "tough" place to play, its more of a sterile and boring venue where teams often have to manufacture their own energy.

There is a big college basketball bracketologist I follow on Twitter. He's been trying to hit up every Big Ten venue this season. He was at the Illinois at Northwestern game and called it one of the worst environments he's ever seen in the conference.

Similar to the preview @HuskerGarrett and I gave yesterday on the pod - despite the record, NU has been really competitive with most everyone they’ve played despite falling short. Stylistically this matchup is interesting, I think NU can win big but certainly not a given

Eye test on the Illinois @ Northwestern game a couple days ago told me we are significantly better than both teams.
