How many Points + Rebounds + Assists For Sam Hoiberg In This Game?

BTW, according to KenPom, New Hampshire has the 355th ranked offense in D1 basketball. There are 365 teams total in D1 basketball.

The Huskers have played 7 top 100 offenses so far this season, including 6 in the top 6.

New Hampshire will either look completely lost on the offensive end or some random nobody, who averages 5 ppg, will hit 7 of 10 threes and keep them in the game for a half.

Nate Loenser and the boys need to be on their game this week.

R. Washut:

I'll be covering Tuesday night's non-conference finale against New Hampshire from Las Vegas, but I wanted to pass along an update on Ugnius Jarusevicius.

From what I heard on Monday, the 6-foot-11, 245-pound senior is in "a much better place" with his lingering back injury than he was leading up to the North Dakota game. As long as he gets through the next 24 hours without any setbacks, I would expect him to make his regular-season debut on Tuesday night.

I still think the Huskers will remain very cautious in easing him back into the mix. I'd expect him to see around 5-10 minutes (no more than 10) off the bench, depending on how the game goes.

His role in NU's lineup will probably remain day-to-day from there, but it sounds like Jarusevicius is "trending in the right direction" to rejoin the Huskers.

He may not want to do it but a redshirt year has to be really, really tempting at this stage

Not sure I've seen this before in D1 basketball, but New Hampshire will play a lot of minutes tonight with all 5 players on the floor standing shorter than 6'4.

They will only use two "bigs," and both those dudes are only 6'8.

He redshirts, develops another 10 months under Fred. Mast got better in his recovery/year off so id assume Oogie gets much better. We are graduating 7 already, so a little retention wouldnt hurt

That being said… if we think his 10-15 mins a game will be the difference in making the second weekend of the tourney, you gotta play him

Do they really want Jarusevicius to play this year?
Is he good enough to replace mast next year? Or is he just a role player no matter what?

Has to be all hands on deck to try and win our first NCAA game this year.

We are going to have some foul trouble in B1G games and we probably need Mast's minutes to come down a couple to keep him fresh for post season.

We have until the Indiana game to play him and still medical redshirt him if he can't go.

No. He's not good enough to replace Mast. I know this board is racist as fuck and think all tall European dudes are the same person, but other than them all being able to pass, handle the ball, shoot decently, be reasonably skilled, have difficult to pronounce names, there's actually some difference in their ability to play basketball

He averaged 16 and 7 last year at CMU (granted thats the mac) but those are better numbers than Mast put up at Bradley before coming here. Averaging 16 and 7 at any level is impressive.

Oogie was also our 2nd highest rated transfer behind Pryce (according to 247) with an 89 rating

So he’s basically a younger Jokic?

Yes.

No but seriously, i havent seen him play. All i know is averaging 17 and 6 at any level is difficult, so he must be at least decent
The MAC is a pretty low level CBB conference. Could just be a dude who played at a low level

Easily in the bottom half of the 30+ D1 conferences.

Well below the Missouri valley, Ivy League, west cost etc.

Equal to the WAC, Southland, Horizon, Southern, Big South and Summit

Above the SWAC, MEAC, Ohio Valley and Patriot league

While I can appreciate your point, Uggie is a more athletic version of Mast. I don't think he's as good of a passer, nor does he possess the same vision which aids in Mast's abilty to spread the ball. But Uggie is very equal as a scorer and has more "ups."
