They paid 2 OCs for this season so why not just bring in Kotelnicki and let Holgs leave for free?

With the new unlimited staff members rule you technically don’t need to “fire” anyone. Just hire a “Co-Offensive Coordinator” and just marginalize the current bum. He’ll eventually quit or have his contract renegotiated and his office moved to the basement of a freshman dorm. Try to avoid confrontation and often times the problem will solve itself.

Steelers aren't going to fire Tomlin before the season is over...and I doubt Tomlin would quit before that.

Also, it's gone sour at Pittsburgh no doubt...but I think he'd get another NFL job pretty quickly.

Not only that but I don’t see him taking a job right away, I see Tomlin taking some time off before jumping into another gig

Still hearing from my Philly friend that it’s Tomlin. I think he’s crazy

Your friend is on strong exotic experimental drugs and needs professional help. Tomlin will have his pick of several NFL jobs if he is fired or quits. He’ll get paid almost as much and have about 1000 less office hours. No recruiting, No portal, No boosters, No NIL bullshit. Your players are on contract and your GM does most of the heavy lifting in free agency, trades, contracts, draft picks etc…

I don’t think we’ll ever see an NFL HC with options at the pro level go back to college again. (ala Saban) College jobs have 10 times the headaches, more hours and the same cutthroat expectations and consequences.

That sounds very Tomlin. But he’s probably going to have interest and/or offers from 3-4 different organizations.
